Item Description
Bid now on this signed jersey from Jim Rice, longtime Boston Red Sox left fielder and a member of the Hall of Fame Class of 2009. The jersey is a home white with Rice's #14 on the back. His signature is along the cross of the 4, with the words "HOF 09" along the angle and "MVP 78" straight up and down, to signify his MVP award in 1978.
Jim Rice is one of the favorite Red Sox players in recent history. He patrolled left field for the club for 15 years and was one of the true good guys of the sport, becoming involved in a number of charities, including The Jimmy Fund. In addition to his MVP award, he was an eight-time All-Star and a two-time Silver Slugger. His number was retired by the Red Sox in 2009 to coincide with his entry into the Hall of Fame.
