Size: 8.5in x 8.5in

Media: Glass tile, ball-chain and mirror all on an up-cycled metal clock frame. 

Artist Statement:

The outside row of tile was placed on mirror to add depth and change of color using the same green tile.  I used a diffused and raindrop clear glass over the clock face.

I am a self-taught artist and have been creating many forms of arts and crafts for most of my life, but mixed media mosaics are my passion!  Through mosaics

I am able to express my love of the abstract through the countless different colors and textures that tile, glass, metal and various found objects impart.  All these different colors and textures of glass really get my creativity flowing and my many one-of-a-kind mosaics are the result!

I enjoy the challenge that found objects present in creating a visually appealing piece of art and I am constantly searching for all sorts of intriguing bits and pieces to showcase in one of my mosaics.

I look for anything that I think I can use, and I try to up-cycle and recycle whenever possible.  I pride myself on the design, craftsmanship and quality of every piece, no matter how large or small.
