Artist Statement:

I selected an ocean scene as I view the world of water and land, no divisions of land by different countries, states, or borders to divide us.  We are all here on this earth to not only make it a better place to live, but to enhance it with the beauty of art, science and helping one another to become a world that is filled with peace and harmony.

I’ve been a mosaic artist for 12 years, teaching the past nine, creating everything from pots to wall murals.  Each work takes on it’s own creativity and challenges.

I’ve taught, and am currently teaching at the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda, Florida.  Colleen Cassidy Gallery, Sarasota, Florida; Englewood Art Center/a division of Ringling College of Art & Design; Arts Alliance of Lemon Bay, Englewood, Florida and at my own private studio.

Currently I am a displaying artist at the Arts Alliance of Lemon Bay Gallery on Historic Dearborn Street in Englewood, where I also offer classes for beginners and advanced techniques weekly.
