Winning bidder will receive a $250 fee reduction off a two or four week session of JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts & Science Camp during the summer of 2011, for NEW campers only.
TRANSPORTATION SERVICE is available for campers TO/FROM BROOKLINE. The fee is $100 for four weeks. There are two stops in the Coolidge Corner area , including the corner of Harvard and Verndale and the corner of Freeman and Babcock.
JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts & Science Camp presents boys and girls in grades K-8 with opportunities to make friends, learn new skills, stay active, and nurture their inner artists. Campers experiment with the arts and science – and a healthy does of sports and the great outdoors – and regularly showcase their talents under the supervision of artists, performers, and experienced counselors. It’s a great place to spread creative wings! Campers explore art, music, theater, dance, science and the great outdoors in a on the campus of the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Open to the entire community.

Campers are placed in groups according to age and grade in school:
Introductory Session (entering kindergarten)
For first year campers only. Our youngest campers get a taste of Kaleidoscope as specialists and counselors guide them through an exploration of art, music, drama, swimming, sports and Shabbat celebration during our special introductory 2-week session. Each day includes lunch, swimming, a snack and six activity periods. Click here for a sample schedule.
Lower Camp (grades K-3)
Campers travel with their groups to enjoy a variety of exciting art, drama, music, and movement programming as well as science, nature and sports. Recreational and outdoor activities are key components. Each day includes lunch, swimming, a snack and six activity periods. Lower Campers may register for one four-week session or the full eight-week season. Click here for a sample schedule.
Upper Camp (grades 4-8)
Upper campers choose elective classes every two weeks, which may include stage performance, visual arts, cooking, filmmaking, science, and other collaborative options. Guest artists, writers, specialists and performers provide sophisticated workshops in a wide range of concentration areas. Community service opportunities are also a cornerstone of Upper Camp. Each day includes lunch, swimming, a snack, and six activity periods. New for 2010: Upper Campers may register for two, four, six or eight weeks. Click here for a sample schedule.
