Item Description

Winning bidder will receive one week of boys basketball camp from Boston College.  This camp is for boys, ages 8-14 and is sponsored by Boston College Men's Basketball.

About the Camp:

LOCATION: The camp is conducted on the beautiful Chestnut Hill campus at Boston College. All games and activities will take place in the Flynn Recreation Complex and Conte Forum, home of the ACC Boston College Eagles. 

AGES: For boys ages 8 – 14 (Ineligible to attend camp if child has completed the 9th grade) 

CAMP SESSIONS: July 18 – 22   &   July 25 - July 29    

CAMP HOURS: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

VALUE: Tuition for one week of camp is $275

AT THE BOSTON COLLEGE BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP:

The staff-student ratio ranges from 1-8 to 1-10. Each Student plays on a team with players of his own age and ability.  Students play at least half of every game. Competition is used as a learning tool to help youngsters improve their all-around game with emphasis on team work and good sportsmanship.  Students work on skills like ball handling, balance, defense, dribbling, rebounding, passing and shooting. Students are taught conditioning exercises and drills as used by college and pro players, along with challenging and motivational techniques for both on/off season.

CHECKS TO BE MADE OUT TO DEVOTION SCHOOL AND MAILED TO CINDY TUNGATE, DEVOTION SCHOOL SPRING CARNIVALE, 345 HARVARD STREET, BROOKLINE, MA 02446 (OR DROPPED IN HER MAILBOX AT SCHOOL).

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees. We thank you for helping with this and supporting the school.
