One Willow Bridge Road (OWBR) is one of the most exclusive residences in Vail. It is located in the heart of Vail Village on the banks of Gore Creek with a short walk over heated brick streets to the ski lifts, a host of fine restaurants and interesting shops. OWBR has the feel of a small cozy European hotel - there are less than 20 units. The three bedroom suites are approximately 2000 square feet with 3 full baths, and one half bath, a well furnished living room, a dining area, and a full gourmet kitchen with a Wolf range. It is managed by the Sonnenalp, a 5 Star Hotel. OWBR has daily maid service and conceirge services. Every OWBR guest has full access to the Sonnenalp Hotel - including room service, as well as the hotel spa.
In advance of your arrival, you may email your grocery list to the concierge so that your kitchen will be stocked with everything you require. During the busy weeks of spring break, you might also want them to make dinner reservations at one of the fine restaurants, the upscale Cine Bistro movie theatre or bowling lanes at Solaris.
Start each morning with a delicious and complimentary family style breakfast before the fireplace in the members' lounge. It's just a short walk to the lift where you pick up your skis and boots...and off you go. Upon your return in the afternoon, there will be a hot bowl of soup and refreshments waiting for you in the members lounge. The outdoor hot tub is a welcome tonic for sore muscles.
If you decide to take the day off from skiing, you can go shopping in the village. You may want to take an exercise class at the Sonnenalp or pamper yourself with treatments at the hotel's wonderful spa before lounging around the outdoor-indoor pool. Some days you may just may want to let the world go by as you sit in front of the fire, and read a book.
