Item Description
**This piano will not be available for auction - raffle tickets will be sold by the Pacific Symphony League for the purpose of raising money for the Symphony's outstanding education programs. This is a new Kawai UST8 piano, donated by Kawai America Corporation. The UST8 is similiar to the UST9 and you can learn more about the details of this piano on the Kawai website here.
All pianos are auctioned "as is". There is no Kawai warranty.
Jack Marchese is a mixed-media artist and musician based out of Santa Ana, CA. Better known as Jack Marko, his work has been shown and collected throughout U.S., Japan, Australia, and Europe. When not traveling the globe, Marchese is a music producer and President of Give Up Records. His work on this piece was inspired by historical narratives about Santa Ana and the City of Orange and created using found objects and personal memorabilia along with acrylics, spray paint and markers. Maurizio Edouard Moreira Calderon better known in the art world as Eddie de la Barca multi-media artist / poet / art curator band leader of the Entertainers,and The Precious Flowers under Give Up records with current exhibits at Drapes Vintage, Platinum Ink, Studio del Sotano, Seven 1 Four Underground and G. C. S. @ the Santa Ana Artist Village currently he is happily doing what he loves, selling art and designing skateboard decks. The idea behind the piano is from a series of paintings of futuristic cities with color and harmony... light, infinity, peace, love, spirituality, energy and sound, in a new world that has no pollution but instead, the idea that we are inside the web, the matrix is all an illusion.
