Link Larkin
HAIRSPRAY
2002
Good Morning, Baltimore! Every teenager in town runs home at 4 o’clock to watch young heartthrob Link Larkin jump, jive and wail as one of the hottest dancers on the Corny Collins Show. He may be one of the “Nicest Kids in Town” but he makes all the girls swoon in this number, inspired by William Ivey Long’s original costume. Link wears a black silk satin shirt under his shiny blue blazer. The shawl lapels and cuffs are adorned with decorative stitching for that subtle touch of class. He will strut and bump in front of the camera in black pinstriped, cuffed trousers that fit just right. He completes his ensemble with a tribute to The King himself – blue suede shoes made in a monk-strap style. Attention to every detail is apparent in his black leather belt with a real brass buckle, curly blonde hair and a miniature Gibson® guitar with black leather strap. He’s singing “It Takes Two” right to you and just one look at this handsome bear is sure to make any young girl sigh “I Can Hear the Bells.”
