Item Description

Pinocchio
SHREK THE MUSICAL
2008

As one of the most beloved fairy tale characters of all time, Pinocchio charmed his way into everyone’s hearts battling the sinister Lord Farquaad and his army on the stage in Shrek The Musical. Now our favorite little wooden boy makes an appearance as an adorable bear. Every inch of this bear has been hand-painted to give his body and clothing a wood-grain effect – even down to his painted red felt buttons. At his elbow and knee joints are button knots that simulate the look of a real marionette. Pinocchio bear wears a white silk shirt under his blue wool Lederhosen. His gloves, hat and shoes are made of ultrasuede, all painted with the same wood grain effect. On his shorts are layers of wool felt cut and attached to look like knotholes. His hat is removable and his wig can be styled to give this cute bear any number of different looks. But the biggest surprise is yet to come: pull on the “Bad Boy” ball-and-string on his back and watch his nose grow! Pull on the “Good Boy” ball and his nose returns to normal, making him that much closer to becoming a real boy. He may look like a wooden puppet, but in our hearts Pinocchio is just as real as any boy.
