Item Description
The game of poker is hotter than ever! More and more people are discovering the game that's been described as taking "five minutes to learn but a lifetime to perfect." Join the fun by learning how to play Texas Hold 'Em with Lab mom Jeannette Levitt, an experienced poker player who's a consistent winner online and has logged countless hours in live play, including the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. After taking you through the basics of the game, Jeannette will share some of the high-level strategies she uses to take down even professional opponents. If you've ever secretly wished you knew when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em, this super-fun girls' night is for you. Refreshments will be plenty, but no cigars allowed! Held at Jeannette's Hyde Park home Friday evening April 8, 2011. Open to Lab families, alumni and faculty; women only. Ten slots available, $75 per person.
