Item Description
Crow Canyon's one-day archaeology adventure in Cortez, Colorado, gives you a basic understanding of ancestral Pueblo history, making your visits to local museums and archaeological sites more enjoyable and rewarding, and it provides a rare opportunity to visit an ongoing archaeological excavation. You’ll examine artifacts hands-on, tour the archeology laboratory, enjoy lunch on campus, then tour a current excavation site. For adults and children, this is an outstanding introduction to the history of the Anasazi who inhabited the spectacular Four Corners area for more than 1,500 years.
Item Special Note
Tours available every Wednesday and Thursday, May through September, 2011. Children must be age 10 or older. Please call 1-800-422-8975 to reserve your tour.
