Item Description
The winning bidder will receive a weekend getaway for two (2) with Northwest Navigation. Explore the beautiful San Juan Islands on the classic Northwest built former work boat turned yacht, the David B. We'll take you and a friend for 3-days and 2-nights on a fully crewed cruise for hiking, kayaking and wildlife watching. Let the sound of the David B's original slow-speed engine take you back to the days of yesteryear or lull you to sleep on deck as you relax in the sun. You'll be pampered by the ship's chef, as she prepares special gourmet meals for you that includes fresh baked breads and pastries right out of the David B's wood-burning cook stove. Private accommodations include, queen-sized beds or extra-long twin bunks. Each cabin with its own private head (toilet). In addition there's a shared head with a full-sized cast iron bathtub and fireplace where you can enjoy a relaxing soak after a fun day of exploration. The David B is the perfect alternative to the mainstream cruise ships for anyone in search of a specialized cruise that is out of the ordinary and on an uncommon boat.
Item Special Note
This Northwest Navigation trip must be taken in the 2011 cruising season. A $50.00 administration fee will be attached for trips booked after 2011.
