The winning bidder will receive a full day Destination Sail for one (1) aboard the 1939, 72' Alden Schooner "Dirigo II" from San Juan Classic Day Sailing. Aboard "Dirigo II," lunch will be served at sail while off the West Side of San Juan Island and hors d'oeuvres and wine will be offered once we set anchor in Roche Harbor, just in time to sit back and watch the sunset! Family owned and operated, the San Juan Classic Day Sailing office is steps from the Washington State Ferry Terminal and the Kenmore Air Sea Plane Dock in Friday Harbor, WA. From this ideal location in the heart of the islands, they sail through the spectacular waters and islands of the Salish Sea. Guests are welcomed and encouraged to become "part of the crew" and participate in the sailing of the vessel; instruction is available to those who want it. If just relaxing is the order of the day, the deck of a sail boat is a perfect place to sit back and let the ocean bring reconnect you bring you back to your center. There is always the chance to be surrounded by wildlife, including Orca whales. A day out on the water with San Juan Classic Day Sailing promises to be a truly memorable experience for you, your family and friends.
