Item Description

Dining Certificate for Food and Beverage up to $75 at Doce Lunas Restaurant and Antiques in beautiful Kenwood, a small wine country town at a wide spot in the road. Doce Lunas is located within minutes of world-class wineries; Kunde, Kenwood, Chateau St. Jean, St. Francis, Landmark, Loxton, B. R. Cohn, Benziger, Blackstone as well as many smaller boutique wineries.

Chef/Owner Alex Purroy grew up in Sonoma County, leaving at age 18 to explore the world and pursue his lifelong love of cooking. After 20 years of culinary adventures across the globe Alex came home, with an old school approach and a small Mom and Pop restaurant in Kenwood to showcase his many specialties.

Owner Jackie Purroy has been greeting people as long as she can remember. At age five, she was welcoming customers to her parents' grocery store. Humble beginnings segued into hosting U.S. presidents and world leaders at some very prestigious hotels as Convention Services Manager.

ABOUT OUR NAME:
"As I explained in poor Spanish to my hard-of-hearing grandmother that we had just purchased a restaurant and antique store on Highway 12 in the Valley of the Moon, she thought the name of the place was "Twelve Moons" ... and so it is now "Doce Lunas" thanks to Grandma Purroy." - Alex Purroy

ABOUT OUR PLATES:
"The dinner plates displayed on our walls are from places where I've cooked around the world. They represent great memories for me and are a constant reminder to pay homage to past co-workers and their cuisines by cooking with respect for food and culture." - Alex Purroy

Our place is rustic
... welcoming you to dine from cast irons skillets reminiscent of grandma's house.

The feeling is relaxed
... as you're sitting amongst the country antiques.

The setting is refined
... with our walls full of Sonoma County scenes painted by local artists.
