Item Description

Founded in 1842 by a group of local musicians, the New York Philharmonic is the oldest symphony orchestra in the United States, and one of the oldest in the world. It currently plays some 180 concerts a year, and on May 5, 2010, gave its 15,000th concert — a milestone unmatched by any other symphony orchestra...

...And you've missed all of them! You know you have. You've meant to go, you know it would be lovely to hear the Philharmonic, but you've never booked tickets. So bid here now and do it. Beethoven, Mahler, Tchaikovsky! It will be wonderful.

Item Special Note
