Item Description
Carved from a whole tagua seed, this ring's shape is dictated by the seed's unique size and form, which makes each piece one-of-a-kind.
What is tagua? It's sometimes referred to as a nut, but it is literally the seed from a specific palm tree in South America. It's also known as "vegetable ivory" because it carves like elephant ivory even though it is a natural sustainable material. These rings feature the original cream color of the seed, and some even show its veined "skin," deep brown in color. A beautiful, utterly original piece of jewelry.
