Item Description
The awe-inspiring Chengdu Panda Base in Sichuan Province, China is a world-class facility and conservation education center dedicated to the study and conservation of the Giant Panda.
The panda, China's well-known and much-loved animal ambassador, often garners oohs and aahs from animal lovers due to their loveable faces and endearing behaviors. Imagine seeing this incredible animal close-upÉ and being able to take a picture with one! So make sure to bring your best camera with you!
Six individuals will be provided entry into the Chengdu Panda Base to enjoy a personal guided tour (in English) of this impressive facility, and an extremely exclusive opportunity to interact and take a close-up photo with a panda.
Depending on which animal is available, you may have a chance to hold a baby panda, or gently pet an adult panda. You want to make sure to get to the Base early, as pandas love their afternoon naps!
Please note that this experience is no longer offered to the general public, and is only available through private VIP arrangements. The Base is approximately a three and a half hour plane ride from Shanghai, a three hour plane ride from Beijing, and an hour and a half from Kunming. The massive facility is a destination all on its own, so expect to spend a lot of time at the Base.

Limitations: Pandas are more active during cooler weather, so travel during Fall, Winter, or Spring is preferred. Arrangements for the Chengdu Panda Base visit must be made with Angela Lee two months prior to planned visit. Visit must take place before April 30, 2012. Individuals going on the experience must arrive at the base by 9:30 a.m. Valid for experience only and does not include accommodations, airfare, transportation or meals.
