Own a handmade collectible needlepoint piece of art created by Holocaust survivor Rose Van Thyn. Mrs. Van Thyn resided in Shreveport for many years for many years and spoke to literally thousands of local school children during her life about the horrors of the Jewish genocide. She was originally from Holland and survived the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland and emigrated to the United States in 1956.
