The Amadeus Center for Health and Healing has been a healing oasis in New Haven for more than 20 years and offers a complete menu of services including massage and bodywork, acupuncture, hypnotheraphy and more.
Pamper yourself or a loved one to a one hour deep tissue massage valued at $110 (gratuity is not included). This offer expires on July 16, 2011.
Deep tissue sassage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle (trigger points, muscle fibers, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments).
Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish Massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist uses different techniques to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as adhesions). Don’t worry it shouldn't hurt, but it is likely to be a bit more uncomfortable than a classic Swedish Massage. This is the Amadeus Center's most popular massage.
The Amadeus Center is located at 20 Audubon Court (on Lincoln Way) in New Haven, Conn.
