Enjoy an eighteenth century tea party with mouthwatering desserts!
Tea played an important role in the lives of Americans in the late 18th and early 19th century. Participants will learn the customs of “taking tea” and the
role it played in the courting customs of young men and women, while enjoying tea and some delicious homemade desserts.
Appropriate for children ages 8 years and up.
In season, date to be coordinated with Bev York.
The Hale Homestead was home to CT state hero, Nathan Hale. Visitors to the 1776 house learn about the Hale family’s contribution to the patriot cause during the American Revolution.
