Item Description
"My paintings celebrate nature...". Sonoma County resident, Jack Stuppin, has exhibited nationally in many solo and group shows. From Yonkers, New York, Columbia College, and the San Francisco Art institute, Stuppin was for many years a member of The Sonoma Four, a group well-known for their en pleine air landscape painting.
Stuppin's landscape paintings have been described as "exhilarating as the seasons that inspires them", a "bright rolling symphony of colors and curves". He's been critically acclaimed for paying homage in his work to the great Hudson River landscape painters such at Bierstadt and Church.
