Item Description
The mission of Henry Allen TheatreWorks Cape Ann is to foster and support the development of original, copyright-free theatrical projects and productions that are born of the historic and modern folklore of Cape Ann.
We are a true Community Theatre that values and promotes freedom, and nurtures the creative spirit that exists in all human beings. We offer a safe, sacred space to explore, risk, and dream.
$40 new student registration fee required.
Item Special Note
You choose from one of the below Henry Allen TheatreWorks Classes:
Budding Artists (ages 4-7), Tuesdays, 9-11am or 3:30-5:30pm sessions: Younger children can do theatre too!! Students will collaboratively develop unique fairy tales, born completely out of their own vast imaginations! These stories will be practiced and then performed as short plays for parents, grandparents and friends.
Young Playwrights Series (ages 6 and up), Wednesdays, 4-6pm: The folklore of Cape Ann is rich, mysterious and magical, conjuring images of pirates, mermaids, witches, ghost ships and sea serpents! Through this exciting exploration of stories and songs, we will create an original musical to be produced on the mainstage!
Young Actor's Group (ages 8-18), Thursdays, 4-6pm: Work with a group to brush up your scenework, acting, voice and movement skills. Very fun and intensive. All experience levels welcome!
