Item Description
Valley of The Moon's 2007 Cuvee de la Luna is a unique blend of four of the seven traditional red Bordeaux varietals. For the '07 blend, individual barrel lots were chosen from Sonoma County's premier viticultural areas, including Sonoma Valley, Dry Creek Valley, and Sonoma Mountain.
The fruit for this wine was harvested in September and October after 2007's exceptional growing season. The black cherry, vanilla and sweet tobacco aromas are enhanced with rosemary and baking spice notes. Complex and concentrated black cherry and red currant flavors are integrated with rich oak and dark chocolate on the finish. Supple tannins and balanced acidity provide excellent structure to this elegant and complex blend.
The robust yet elegant flavors of the Cuvee de la Luna pair well with a variety of entrees, including steak, lamb and roasted meats.
This Offer: 3 Liter Bottle of Valley of The Moon 2007 Cuvee de La Luna, signed by the winemaker.
