Item Description
Fine Art Print, professionally printed and mounted in plexiglas, 16 x 24. This photograph, shot in 2009 by Ed Emrich, depicts the beautiful but dizzying array of buildings that dominate the scene in lower Manhattan. The entire frame of the shot consists of nothing but colorful architecture, with no empty space in which to seek refuge from the congestion of the city. This piece was featured in the recent "New York, New York" show hosted by Wirth Art Advisory, and is #1 in a limited edition of 5.

Item Special Note
Ed Emrich is a photographer who has had several solo and group shows in Manhattan, including a well-received solo show at The New York Mercantile Exchange in May 2009. His work has been the subject of three recent articles by The Gloaming Magazine (http://www.thegloaming.com/blogs/emrichinterview.html). Because of the unique ways in which he takes his photos, many of them look more like impressionist or surreal paintings than they do like photographs.
