Item Description

Veteran WCBS 880 Radio Reporter Marla Diamond, mom of Max Haskell (Blue Door), will take you on a 2 hour , behind the scenes tour of WCBS 880 and WCBS TV.   Here you will get to see the producers, writers and support staff in action and sit in the anchor studio as the news is broadcast live!  You will also get to sit in on the live broadcast of the WCBS 2 TV News at Noon.  This will be followed up by lunch at the Broadcast Center with Marla, where she can tell you what it's like to cover the streets of the city and answer any of your questions.

At WCBS 880, we like to say It Matters Where You Get Your News.  WCBS Newsradio has been providing New Yorkers news and information at 880 on the AM dial for more than 40 years. In the great tradition of Edward R. Murrow, with one of the most veteran radio news staffs in the country, WCBS 880 is the place to go for breaking news, local news, business and sports in the New York Tri State Area. Traffic and Weather Together On the Eights has been a station signature for decades.

This is a priceless opportunity to see how the greatest news team in New York get the news to millions in the tri-state area everyday!

Item Special Note

The tour will take place on an agreed upon weekday date and time at the Broadcast Center, 527 W. 57th St.
