Item Description
Claddagh is the traditional Irish symbol of Love. In the 16th century there was a jeweler from the small village of Claddagh, near Galway, Ireland. His name was Sir Richard Joyce. He was kidnapped by barbaric pirates, all the while thinking of the love he was tore away from. He designed a ring to express his love for her, to wear always. It consisted of a heart, hands that surround the heart, and a crown over the heart and hands; representing love, friendship and fidelity or loyalty.
Timothy has been designing and creating jewelry for nearly 25 years. Making jewelry is much more than a job or a career, it is his love and passion. He believes every piece of jewelry is a piece of lasting art. Each one begins with a design that will make you proud to wear and must be created with the finest skill and craftsmanship. At Timothy Patrik Jewelers every piece is made individually by hand with love and care.
Timothy's specialty is celtic and contemporary designs. He finds celtic jewelry brings him closer to his Irish heritage, and contemporary designs allows him the freedom to create and explore shapes and lines.
