Item Description
M. A. Hadley pottery is a true folk art pottery that features designs originated by Mary Alice Hadley in the 1940's. Today, Hadley pottery is painted completely free hand, by different artists, resulting in some variation of designs from piece to piece.
There are many patterns and specialized and personalized plates and coasters. Made from clay native to Kentucky and Indiana, the ware is hand painted, glazed, and then kiln-fired to 2100 degrees Fahrenheit, making it highly resistant to chipping and scratching. It is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.
This featured item is a 2 quart pitcher with the Sailboat logo.
