Item Description
The Robins created this exquisitely painted table and chair set collaboratively after being inspired by an art lesson on primary and secondary colors. The lesson was taught in a loving and whimsical way, with primary and secondary colored balloons, song, movement, and much laughter.
Then we explained to the children that they were going to work as a team on a table and chair set and paint it for the school’s gala. The children worked in small groups on their collaborative masterpiece. They were very excited to know that they were using “grown up” paint (a.k.a acrylic paints…) just like real furniture makers. They worked diligently and carefully. We are so proud of their final product and how beautifully they worked together.
