Item Description
Enjoy the area’s annual major college football post-season bowl game with two tickets to the 2012 Outback Bowl, to be played January 2, 2012 at Raymond James Stadium.
The Outback Bowl is a New Year's Day college football game matching teams from the SEC and Big Ten Conference (3rd pick from each).
The game is a culmination of a week-long schedule of events throughout the Tampa Bay. Originally known as the Hall of Fame Bowl, the Outback Bowl has celebrated twenty one years in Tampa.
Teams are selected to play in the Outback Bowl based on a variety of criteria. The bowl gets the third selection from the Big Ten Conference and the SEC (factors such as the BCS at-large selections may adjust this selection order). No decision will be made prior to the final regular season games being played by teams from these two conferences. Teams are typically announced in early December.
Raymond James Stadium, home to the Outback Bowl, opened in September 1998. Fans enjoy theater-style seats with cup holders and unique festive, endzone concourses accented by two large video scoreboards. Tailgating is allowed in stadium parking lots, so come early and make a day of it!
