Item Special Note
Sibylle Peretti received her BFA in Glass Making in 1988 at the School for Glass in Zwiesel, Germany. In 1992 she received her MFA in Sculpture and Painting at the Academy for Fine Arts in Cologne, Germany. In 2007 she was an artist-in-residence at the John Michael Kohler Art Center in Kohler, WI. In 1996, 2000, and 2003 Peretti was a Creative Glass Center of America artist-in-residence in Millville, NJ. Peretti was awarded both the Pollock Krasner and Joan Mitchell Foundation Grants in 2006. She is represented by Heller Gallery, NY, and by William Traver Gallery, Seattle, WA.
