Item Description
You'll be hard pressed to find an item that best displays the many decades of greatness represented by Michigan Football. Some of the all time greats to wear the winged helmet (and one who wore a leather helmet) have autographed this 12 inch by 18 inch photograph of Michigan Stadium from the endzone turf. Squarely in the middle of the photograph is the autograph of the man who sits squarely in the middle of modern Michigan football history, Heisman Trophy winner and recent Super Bowl champion Charles Woodson. Just below Woodson was a man who very nearly became Michigan's second Heisman Trophy winner in 1947, All American and National Championship winning back Bob Chappuis. Next on the photograph was late 60's/early 70's era running back and three time All Big Ten honoree Billy Taylor. This photograph also features three stalwarts of the Michigan running offense of the 1970's in Gordon Bell, Harlan Huckleby and the late Rob Lytle. Next up is the man who delivered all those passes to Desmond Howard and Derrick Alexander in the early 90's, All Big Ten and long time San Francisco 49ers quarterback Elvis Grbac. The final signers are all representing the aughts including current Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Morgan Trent, Houston Texans defensive end Tim Jamison and former defensive tackle Rondell Biggs.
Bidder assumes all shipping costs if they do not wish to pick the item up in person.
Proceeds from the auction of this item benefit the Bernard "Pat" Maloy Cancer Scholarship.
