Item Description

Is your kid have a thing for clothing? Are they crafty? Do they have clothing designer fantasies? Then SewHo is just the right thing for them.

SewHo is a program located in New York City, taught by Conchi Vitale -- a fashion and accessories designer.  Selling her designs to specialty boutiques nationwide, she now brings her talent to another level by offering weekly sewing classes for children and teens.

Conchi always felt that kids were deprived of an important skill by not learning basics as part of the school curriculum. So she chose to do something about it, Conchi became a licensed Kids Can Sew & Fashion Design Instructor and then branched out on her own and created SewHo.

Sewing is not difficult, but it is not easy either. Learning to sew, however, is a fairly straightforward process. Conchi’s goal is to close the gap between what someone knows about sewing (if they’re a beginner) and what they want to sew (the cool clothes and accessories they really want) - one stitch at a time.
