Item Description

Saints Hills Dingac is Croatia's premier "cult wine."
This single-vineyard wine is made from indigenous Plavac Mali grapes, which were grown on the sun-drenched slopes of Dingac, Croatia's most prized wine-growing appellation.
Dignac lies on the Peljesac peninsula, a finger of limestone-crusted land peppered with olive trees, fig trees, and wild Mediterranean herbs, extending some 40 miles out into the Adriatic Sea.

This full-bodied wine is fermented in large wooden vats and aged for 15 months in French oak barrels. It's rich with sun-baked black fruits, roasted herbs, dried fig, licorice and spice.

Powerful yet soft and elegant, this wine could accompany roast lamb, wood fire-grilled meats and fish, aged hard cheeses, and even dark chocolate desserts.

For centuries, locals have referred to the wines of Dingac as "liquid gold." Saints Hills 2008 Dingac is a superb expression of the region's unique offering.
