Item Description

Item # 640 is a traditional Navajo necklace donated by Southwest Passage in Wayland Square, Providence.  It is 24" in length and valued at $330.

This necklace bears the artist’s signature and is crafted with three pieces of turquoise and sterling beads.  It was acquired near the Navajo reservation in New Mexico and is typical of the Native American jewelry sold by Southwest Passage.

 

Southwest Passage, in Wayland Square is the only store in Rhode Island dedicated to the times jewelry and crafts of Native American tribes of Arizona and New Mexico.
