Item Description
By the time you are reading this, the media frenzy surrounding the upcoming wedding of "Wills & Kate" will be getting fairly loud. Along with that, we're guessing sellers of 'coronation' collectibles will be popping up everywhere. This is your chance to own a piece of British Royal Monarchy 'history', which predates Wills & Kate by several lifetimes.
This pitcher measures approximately 9" tall, and is marked with images of King George and Queen Mary, with the sentiment, "Long May They Reign." The reverse says "King George & Queen Mary", "Crowned June 22nd 1911." We're not math (or pottery) experts, but this probably makes the item 100 years old right about now. There is an inscribed mark on the underside of the pitcher, and no other markings that we can see.
The piece is in fair condition - with some crazing and hairline cracks. Majority of the original gold leaf detail is intact.
Item Special Note
