Item Description
Using acrylic paint and fabice pens, Dimple and Stephanie’s 2nd and 3rd graders each created an 8” square to represent the animal that he/she is studying. The fabric was collected from parents and grandparents and one of the student’s grandmother’s came in and spoke with the class about the history and process of quilt-making. This finished quilt, measuring 56x46 inches, is an amazing collaborative work has been iron set and may be machine washed, making it a heirloom piece commemorating childhood at PS 3.

This class art project is being previewed online. All bidding will take place at our live event on Sat. April 2, 7 - 10pm, at Stephan Weiss Studio, 711 Greenwich Street (corner of Charles), NYC. Tickets can be purchased at www.ps3nyc.org. We hope to see you there!
