Item Description

3-DAY PARENT-CHILD BUILD-A-THON!

Have you always wanted to build something special with your child but haven’t been able to make time? Experience a unique carpentry and design experience at the new Riveropolis design studio over the Memorial Day weekend – May 28, 29 & 30. Facilitated by Gregory Gavin – Limited to just six child/parent duo’s!

In this three day “industrial design” workshop kids will collaborate with a parent or caregiver to create a stylish hot rod from reclaimed wood, metal and salvaged stroller wheels. The idiosyncratic cars will not only be sleek and quirky but will feature open topped garden spaces containing sand or soil, miniature landscapes, forests, playgrounds or houseplants to ironically combine the allure of building a roadster with tending a miniature garden. more info at: www.riveropolis.com

When brought home, the approx. 15” x 15” x 30” cars will live out their remaining days as miniature play spaces or decorative planters in the bedroom, deck, porch or backyard!

Ideal for kids now completing 3rd through 6th grade
