Charmaine D. Brown is the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Forest City Enterprises, Inc., where she is responsible for advancing the company’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy.

Joining Forest City in November 2004, Brown is focused on increasing the impact of Diversity and Inclusion throughout the organization. She is responsible for achieving results in the area of diversity recruitment, supplier diversity, workforce inclusion, measurement and compliance. In addition she has responsibility for investigating and responding to EEO complaints and cultivating relationships with local and national organizations to support the company's inclusion efforts.

Prior to joining Forest City, Brown was corporate manager of diversity and inclusion at Charter One Financial, Inc. During her time at Charter One, Brown was responsible for developing and implementing a corporate diversity and inclusion program and establishing corporate goals for diversity.

Brown currently serves on the board and chairs the Human Resource Committee for the Northern Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council, Family Connections and Milestones Autism. She is also a member of the United Way of Greater Cleveland’s Human Resource Advisory Committee and the Cleveland Commission on Economic Inclusion Member Impact committee. She is a graduate from the class 2009 Cleveland Bridge Builder program.  Brown has been active in numerous community events and initiatives. In 2003, Brown was president of the Partnership of African American’s in Human Resources and former hostess with the Society of Urban Professionals also known as S.O.U.P@Nite. Brown also served as a committee member of the Hispanic Business Association Strategic Planning Committee in 2003 and Charter One Bank representative for the United Negro College Fund.

Brown attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She is certified as a Professional Human Resource through the Society of Human Resource Management and holds a certification.

The executives will meet with the winning bidders at a time convenient to both parties, on or before December 1, 2011, except in the case of some celebrities which may carry over to the first quarter of 2012.

Once the winning bid has been validated and collected, CAAO will request the winning bidder's bio/resume and reason for wanting to meet the executive and communicate that information to the executive. CAAO will also pass on the necessary contact information for the winning bidder to make their appointment.

If the winning bidder cancels or wishes to change the date/time of the meeting once it has been scheduled, the winning bidder will be responsible for contacting the executive to communicate any changes.

The winning bidder is responsible for all travel expenses to attend this meeting.
