Item Description
The provenance of this remarkable piece of art is a mini world tour in itself. The limited-edition Destino serigraphs are the work of famed Spanish artist Salvador Dali. Originally created in 1946, the Destino series was intended to be part of a collaboration with Walt Disney to bring to the screen a classic Mexican ballad about fate and young love. The project was finally finished in 2003 with the help of Disney's Paris animators. The short film has been acclaimed worldwide and the Destino series of prints are the subject of a special exhibit currently at the Dayton Art Institue. Now one of these fascinating works can be yours. Is it destined for you? Destino #67 - set of (2) 2006 12" x 16". Serigraph in color on woven paper. From the international proof edition of 275.
