(Bernie Moreno is donating a one hour meeting plus a weekend lease of a Mercedes Benz to the winning bidder.)

Bernie has over 22 years of retail automotive experience; first with the Herb Chambers Companies, New England's largest automotive dealer, and then with his own dealerships in the greater Cleveland area. He started with Herb Chambers as a general manager at the age of 26 when he opened and ran Saturn of Warwick and was recognized by Herb Chambers as "General Manager of the Year."

With the company in a renewed expansion mode, in January of 2005 Bernie was promoted to Vice President of Development and Marketing; one of only two other Vice President positions in a company of almost 1,500 employees. In this capacity, he was responsible for all corporate training, internet marketing, Mercedes-Benz operations, and "opportunity" dealerships (which included Toyota of Boston, Ford of Westborough, and Saab of Boston). In addition, he was responsible for launching all new acquisitions.

Prior to working for the Herb Chambers Companies, Bernie worked at Saturn Corporation at their offices in Michigan, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. He held a variety of sales, service, and marketing positions. He joined Saturn after graduating from the University of Michigan with both his Master's degree in Business Administration as well as his undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts.

On May 12, 2005, Bernie purchased the assets of Mercedes of North Olmsted from United Auto Group and opened the doors to his first dealership. Since that time, the dealership has grown to be, not only the largest volume dealership in Ohio but the entire Central region. More importantly, the dealership was recognized by JD Power and Associates with their Certified Retailer Award as well as the coveted "Best of the Best Award" 5 consecutive years in a row from Mercedes-Benz.

Since then, Bernie has added Porsche, Saab, Lotus, Spyker, Sprinter, Fisker, Infiniti, Acura and most recently VPG Automotive to his dealership collection, with all the dealerships first in their region for sales.

Bernie serves on the Boards of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum, The American Red Cross, Cleveland State University, Lake Ridge Academy and the Cleveland Leadership Center.

A native of Bogotá, Colombia, Bernie speaks fluent Spanish. He moved to the United States at the age of five and became a US Citizen at the age of 18. He currently resides in Westlake, Ohio with his wife, Bridget and four children.

The executives will meet with the winning bidder at a time convenient to both parties, on or before December 1, 2011, except in the case of some celebrities which may carry over to the first quarter of 2012.

Once the winning bid has been validated and collected, CAAO will request the winning bidder's bio/resume and reason for wanting to meet the executive and communicate that information to the executive. CAAO will also pass on the necessary contact information for the winning bidder to make their appointment.

If the winning bidder cancels or wishes to change the date/time of the meeting once it has been scheduled, the winning bidder will be responsible for contacting the executive to communicate any changes.

The winning bidder is responsible for all travel expenses to attend this meeting.
