Tahoe Donner is conveniently situated at the upper west end of Truckee, North Shore Lake Tahoe. The chalet is 20-30 minutes from world-class ski resorts, including Squaw Valley, Northstar, Sugar Bowl, Alpine Meadows, Donner Ski Ranch and Royal Gorge Cross Country Center. You will be just four miles from charming old town Truckee, with its many fine restaurants, boutiques and galleries. Lake Tahoe is just 15 miles away and Reno is 30 miles away.

Our home features high vaulted ceilings, a central living room and loft with a wood burning stove and a 42" flat screen HD TV/DVD. There are 2 master suites, each with a queen bed and private bath. There is a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed and the loft has 2 single mattresses for further sleeping capacity. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counters and updated appliances. Included is reliable broad band high speed internet with WiFi providing excellent connectivity throughout the chalet. There is a large patio deck joining the living room and a private back patio deck on greenbelt with plenty of snow play area for the kids, with sleds provided and a toboggan run in the back yard. There is excellent snow shoeing across the street into the meadow and beyond, with 2 pair of snow shoes provided.

Tahoe Donner is a wonderful, mountain community with its own small ski area, a fantastic cross country ski center, a sledding hill and recreation centers. With the provided guest passes, you can take advantage of the numerous amenities available to Tahoe Donner's members and guests. This includes the private beach at Donner Lake and the recreation centers with heated swimming pools (one open year-round), three large outdoor hot tubs, two saunas and a complete exercise gym. Other Tahoe Donner amenities include a gourmet restaurant, bar and clubhouse, extensive hiking trails, 18-hole championship golf course, driving range, lighted tennis center with 11 courts and an equestrian center.
