Item Description

This basket includes three red wines, three white wines and a waiter’s cork screw. 

Kendall-Jackson 2009 Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay.   The wine has beautifully integrated tropical flavors such as pineapple, mango, and papaya with citrus notes that explode in your mouth. These flavors delicately intertwine with aromas of vanilla and honey to create depth and balance throughout. A hint of toasted oak rounds out the long, lingering finish.

Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio.  Notes of light citrus and delicate floral aromas are complemented by hints of tropical fruit flavors. The wine is full bodied, with a pleasantly soft palate and a long finish.

Kenwood Sauvignon Blanc.  Flavorful aromas of lemongrass, papaya and jasmine. Followed by a fresh and crisp mouthfeel. Best served chilled, this Sauvignon Blanc makes an excellent aperitif and complements a number of dishes. Excellent with lightly sauced poultry, shellfish and seafood dishes, as well as spicy Asian cuisine.

Bogle Merlot.  Concentrated and full-bodied, the 2009 Merlot is a study in contrasts. Subtle and silky, yet bright and intense, this deep red wine is multifaceted. Black raspberry and dark cherry greet the nose, while the brighter fruit of ripe summer plum dazzles the palate. There is a long, lingering finish, which is ready to drink now through 2014.

Ménage à Trois Red.  A blend of Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine exposes the fresh, ripe jam like fruit that is the calling card of California wines.  Forward, silky and soft, it makes the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats and chicken.

Rosemount Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.   The Diamond Label Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine with a soft, fruit-driven palate with bright, expressive fruit and great texture.  Great mid-palate fruit flavors lead to a generous finish, supported by lovely fine tannins.  Goes great with beef or veal.
