GG Stankiewicz graduated from the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts, Boston, MA and achieved a Bachelor of Science of Art Education from Tufts University. In 1992, she completed her MFA at the Rhode Island School of Design. Presently, she also teaches art to teen-age youth with autism, learning and emotional challenges for the New York City Department of Education. She is a current and co-founding member of South Of the Navy Yard Artists, (SONYA). In October of 2009, Stankiewicz completed an edition of forty prints with Master Printmaker Sheila Goloborotko as part of a print portfolio collective in collaboration with thirteen other artists celebrating the 20-year anniversary of Gololborotko’s Print Studio. The portfolio is being exhibited internationally. GG Stankiewicz’s studios are located in Brooklyn and Walton, New York.
