Item Description
Each of the two black wooden Victorian picture frames contains a copy of a pastel by Augustus Jules Bouvier. The pictures are dated 1865 and 1868. The 1865 picture is entitled "On the Corso". The pictures are oval and covered by glass. The frames are carved wood and resemble tree branches with vines growing on them. The frames are a semi-rectangular shape. There is a dark mahogany colored stain on the frames. These possibly date from the late 1880's or early 1900"s.
Pictures are 9.5" by 12" and frames are 16" by 23"; perfect for a B&B or over the fireplace of a grand Victorian home!
