Item Description
Join me for a few hours at Halibut Point State Park in Rockport, Massachusetts. You pick a mutually agreeable day in early summer. We will explore the wildflowers in bloom at that time, you will learn what to look for when identifying wildflowers, and enjoy a picnic, catered by your hostess, while taking in the beautiful quarry and ocean vistas at the park. You will go home with a wildflower field guide (optional). Up to six people.
Item Special Note
Holly is an amateur naturalist who has poured over wildflower books throughout decades of Appalachian Mountain Club hikes, often running to catch up with her group after finding her flower. She has hunted wildflowers in all her outdoor travels from Raineer, the Rockies and the Grand Canyon, to Acadia, the Smokies and the White Mountains.
