Item Description

Rock n' Roll Wrist Wrap! 8" length. Wear it fitted. Ideal for most male wrists or small female ankle. Woven by hand with love. String ends make beautiful little beads and the wrist wraps are a unique accessory whether you're onstage or off. Looks and feels fabulous! One of a kind, can you spot the one bead that's NOT a string end?

Materials: 39 Recycled D'Addario guitar string metal ball ends from professionally played strings. 1 toothed metal bead. Woven with black hemp fiber. Clasp finished with Czech glass beads.

About the artist, Diane Knoll: Many of my inspirations come from natural settings, weather patterns and ecosystems. Ever conscious of the fabric in which we are woven together, I enjoy using "found" items, such as these guitar string ball ends, in designs. I am thrilled to donate this piece to Guitars in the Classroom; as a mandolin player, helping kids get more music in their lives is a cause I happily contribute to, because music makes everything better!

Other info: Save your guitar string ends and I'll make your own custom wrist wrap. Regular retail is $30, but I'll make your custom piece for $25 and donate 5 cents for each string end to Guitars in the Classroom!

Item Special Note

Proceeds raised from the sale of this item will go to support Guitars in the Classroom's free teacher training programs. Our mission is to transform pre-k through high school classrooms by training teachers to integrate musical learning in lessons in order to increase student engagement, employ oral language practice, and promote student achievement across the academic curriculum.  In our free workshops, teachers learn to sing with confidence, play guitar, lead songs, and to select, teach, and facilitate the student writing of educational songs. This daily integration of music with academic learning provides positive, inspiring musical access for all students as part of the regular school day.
