Item Description
The 1937 Oakland Open was played at the Claremont Country Club and was won by Sam Snead. The fairways are narrow and tree lined so you must be accurate. The greens are fast and sloping, and there are many bunkers spread throughout the course. Alister Mackenzie (1920), Robert Muir Graves (1987), and Brad Benz and Mike Poellot (1989) have done redesigns on this course.
