Item Description
Mark a special occasion with a custom-created poem by Ruth Maassen, poet laureate of Rockport. It could be rhymed or unrhymed, comic or serious, as requested. She would be open to reading it at the event. This item includes five copies as a broadside, suitable for framing, one copy in a ribbon-tied scroll, and a PDF.
Item Special Note
Ruth Maassen grew up in western Michigan and arrived on Cape Ann in 1980. In the years since, she has had the pleasure of working with many local writers on her poetry and fiction. Her poems have been published in Inkwell, Tar River Poetry, and other journals, and her Picking Raspberries was one of the Folly Cove chapbook series.
