Item Description
Bring home the bacon ... and the ham ... and the spare ribs! You'll be helping to clear this ranch of these damaging transplanted natives from Europe and Asia. Wild pigs are aggressive mammals posing serious ecological, economic, aesthetic, medical and veterinary threats. These feral members of the pig family should not be confused with the collared peccary, or javelina (Tayassu tajacu), the only native pig-like animal (Family Dicotylidae) living in the wilds of North America. Get out your long gun, your license and pig tags (you can each take a pig) and go on a private guided wild pig hunt on 17,000 acres near Yorkville, CA in the Anderson Valley. Be sure you've done some practicing before you meet your guide! Bring lunch and be ready to walk through rough terrain; knowledge of off-road driving a plus if it's wet. So have a great day of sport and add to your larder at home!
Item Special Note
The winners must be licensed legal age hunters. Long guns only, please. Offer valid through December 20, 2011.
