Gorgeous Giclee reproduction of an original watercolor on gesso, printed with archival pigmented ink on archival paper. Insurance and shipping are free to the buyer (within the Lower 48 U.S. States), and it comes shrink-wrapped over same-size acid-free foamcore backing.

Howard W. Bolte, Bud to most, has painted in the watercolor medium since 1992. His retirement, after 36 years as a science teacher, allowed him to pursue a lifelong interest in the arts. Bud had the opportunity to attend workshops and study with a number of noted and talented artists - and through these painting experiences, he found working with watercolors on a sealed surface to be particularly exciting and rewarding. Paper that is gessoed, or sealed with acrylics, allows for intense color representation....and the ability to easily lift color affords a unique opportunity to continuously modify a work in progress.
Bud is a signature member of both the Florida Watercolor Society and the Central New York Watercolor Society, and affiliated with additional art associations in both states. Over the years he has participated in numerous juried exhibitions, been selected for 'Best of Show' and other awards of distinction, and has had several one-person shows. He is active in presenting demonstrations and workshops, with watercolors and acrylics, on sealed paper surfaces.
